This is my favourite café, and I made most of this map here, at a round table by the glass with the laptop open and a coffee going cold beside it. The hall is glass on three sides under a white fabric roof, so the light moves across the room all day and the room moves with it. Outside, an old wooden dhow sits in a dry basin by the car park, going nowhere, which suits the name. The doors open at six.
